This is a truly impressive place, and I would highly recommend it to visitors and families. There are many different birds to see, and the entrance fee is very affordable. The environment and atmosphere are peaceful and enjoyable. This place has been open since 1992, which means it has been operating for 33 years now. There are not many staff members inside, This birds world it has become a nostalgic place and a wonderful memory for many people. I really hope more tourists will visit, so there will be more support and income to help maintain and improve the park, including the gardens, animal enclosures, and facilities. Inside, there are several free activities for children, such as mini golf, a maze, and a fossil digging area. These activities allow kids to spend quality time with their families and friends. There is also a fish-feeding pond, which feels like a relaxing terrace area, and there are ducks around as well. The park also offers a buffet-style feeding area for local cockatoos. You can admire their beauty from a distance, because they do not fully trust humans. After finishing the activities, there is a small souvenir shop where you can buy some gifts before leaving.

Such great value and a fun day out for the whole family. Kids loved getting prizes for completing the maze. Lots of birds to see then a break for coffee and icecream before playing the giant connect four. Oh and food to feed the fish was included in entrance fee.

Great afternoon out. Very reasonably priced for entry, mini golf (9 holes), a maze and food to feed fish/ ducks. The area is maintained very well and the staff are lovely and helpful.

What an amazing place — a must-see! We all absolutely loved Ballarat Bird World. Not only are there beautiful birds to see, but there’s also mini golf, fish feeding, and a maze, so there’s plenty to do. It’s very well priced and there’s no time limit, which meant we could really take our time and enjoy everything. The staff are just lovely and very friendly. The kids especially loved having photos taken with the birds on their shoulders and arms (this was an optional extra fee). Such a fun and memorable experience for the whole family!

How great is this place! I made my 2nd visit on NYE and once again had a great time, it is located in a beautiful and peaceful setting with a combination of wild birds visiting and the captive birds who are all in large aviaries with plenty of enrichment provided. The cheeky "talkers" always make me chuckle! The Devonshire tea and scones are to die for and the caramel frappe was yummy. A truly great place to spend a few hours for the whole family. It's a perfectly sized attraction as you get to see everything without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.

Nice relaxing place to spend the afternoon with family. The kids loved the mini golf and maze. Put in a few more interactive things for the kids would be good.
